Apple has updated their store and has discontinued the iPod Nano and iPod shuffle. Leaving the iPod Touch as the sole stand alone music player Apple offers.

“Today, we are simplifying our iPod lineup with two models of iPod Touch, now with double the capacity, starting at just $199, and we are discontinuing the iPod Shuffle and iPod Nano,” an Apple representative told Business Insider.

Along with this change, the iPod Touch has received a price reduction and an increase in storage size. Now the entry level is 32GB for $199 and 128GB for $299.
